The major changes in the rules are listed below:

Where a county has the same number of JACs at all age groups then a player may only play for one named JAC during the season. (Rule 3.(c))
Where multiple JACs within the same gender and age group are run by the county squads need to be declared to the JAC Competition Co-ordinator and once selected players cannot play for another JAC team. (Rule 3.(d))
If short of players you can only fill the team with people from JDC or county based players. You cannot take players from other JAC squads. (Rule 3.(g))
You can take a squad of up to 18 players and all players can now play in each match. (Rule 3.(k))
At least 2 adults, up to a maximum of 3 adults, should be in charge of a team for all matches. (Rule 5.(k))
The exemplary conduct of coaches as defined in EH Code of Behaviour for coaches, managers and teachers, leaders and adult helpers is considered to be a key. Managers and coaches are expected to adhere to it - umpires have the power to report any breach of this. (Rule 5.(m)
It is also expected that Managers and Coaches will also support the enforcement of EH Code of Behaviour for spectators and parents with their own team spectators and parents. See Rule 5 (n)
Umpires have the power to report breaches of the EH Code of Behaviour by coaches, managers and teachers, leaders and adult helpers. (Rule 5.(m)) and by spectators and parents (Rule 5 (n))

Amongst his many roles he was Treasurer of Trojans HC, Treasurer of the former men's national Hockey Association and our Treasurer for many years until his retirement in June. His genial presence will be sorely missed.
