School Indoor Entry

Please complete this form to enter the South Schools' Indoor Hockey Tournament during the autumn term 2018. The deadline for entries is 16:00 Wednesday 06 June 2018. There have been issues trying to enter using a Mac and tablet, please use a Windows based machine.

There will be three rounds in the event, preliminaries, pools and finals. The preliminaries will be reasonably local. The pools are fully regional. Some teams will be given byes to the pool stage, the number will depend on the number of entries in individual events.

Late entries will only be accepted if there are available places in the required heats.

There will be an initial entry fee £100 per team which is non-returnable if you withdraw after the withdrawal deadline of 12 Sep 2018. If you fulfill your commitments in the event it will be used towards the main entry fees below, with any balance being returned:

- entry fee £20

- pool umpire fee approx £35

- finals fee approx £120-£140

The entry fee covers the pool and prelim rounds, with the exception of a charge for the umpires at the pool stage. We will request umpires from SCHUA for the pool round and will charge those pools who get umpires, in 2017 all pools had appointed umpires.

The preliminary stages will be around the time of the October half term. To help us avoid allocating you a preliminary during a time that your school is on holiday, please enter the start and end dates of your half term. For consistency the start date is the day after the academic activity finishes and the start date the day before it resumes. Staff training days count as part of the half term.
Do you have a pitch where we could run a preliminary or a heat, if so, please indicate which day or days of the week it is usually available.
Any additional information that you wish to provide.
If we need to refund all or part of the initial entry fee either due to early withdrawal or being knocked out in the early stages, please state the account details to be credited. If you do not provide this information now, we will request it later should we require it.
Southern Counties HA will use the data supplied to help organise this tournament and other tournaments during the 2018-19 school year. The information will be kept on file for two years. Names and contact details of those who qualify for National events will be forwarded to England Hockey. Please indicate that you give us permission to hold you data as specified.
